A "Parents' Gathering and 'Dream Assembly'" (Abhibhabak Samabesh o Swapnasabha) was held in Dhaka, aimed at shaping students' dreams, fostering their mental development, ensuring quality education, and preparing them for future careers.

Organized by Swapnashilon School, this significant event featured important discussions addressing education, child-rearing, self-confidence, technology, and future skills, directed at both students and parents.

Md. Taufiq Imam, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, attended the event—held on Saturday, September 12—as the chief guest.

Special guests included Bipasha Yasmin, a prominent musician from Dhaka and Organizing Secretary of the Bangladesh Teachers' Association, and Sarkar Amirul Islam, a former college teacher and Director of 'Sanskritir Kheya'.

Presided over by Anisur Rahman, Director of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission, the event featured speeches by discussants Sawad Bin Parvez—a former teacher at the Government Teachers' Training College, Dhaka, and Additional Director at the Bangladesh Bank Training Academy—and Nazmul Huda, a renowned writer, trainer, and Joint Director at Bangladesh Bank.

Also present were M Hafiz, Executive Editor of *Swapnashilon* magazine, and Habib Khan, Online Newsroom Editor at Asian Television.

The speakers emphasized that in today's rapidly changing world, families and educational institutions must collaborate to foster children's creativity, critical thinking, self-confidence, communication skills, and technological proficiency, rather than limiting them to conventional education alone. They also stressed the importance of preparing children for the future by valuing their interests, talents, and dreams, rather than burdening them with excessive expectations.

The speakers further noted that the collective cooperation of teachers, parents, and society is essential to turn a child's dream into reality. They remarked that if children are empowered with the courage to dream big, they will grow into capable and humane citizens of the future.

Students, parents, teachers, and individuals from various walks of life attended the event, which generated significant interest and enthusiasm among the participants.
